The Aldergrove School logo combines our school's initial "A" with stylized Alder branches in a traditional crest. The design is clean and sophisticated, reflective of our school's academic focus and pride. The three Alder branches, forming a wrap-around effect to the "A", represent three areas of school focus: academics, citizenship, and comprehensive school health. Our school provides challenging individual and collaborative learning experiences that focus on maximizing student potential, within a caring and respectful environment. We promote a healthy, [active] lifestyle through a focus on "Making the Healthy Choice, the Easy Choice".
As part of our Citizenship Framework, Aldergrove participates in The Leader in Me, and its signature programme focused on the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People. The branches in the logo contain seven leaves, representing the 7 Habits. The Leader in Me helps students learn how to take initiative, plan ahead, set and track goals, prioritize their time, manage their emotions, be considerate of others, resolve conflicts, find creative solutions, and live a balanced life. The process helps students develop the skills and self-confidence they need to lead their lives and succeed in school and beyond. *
