We are seeking a professional and enthusiastic Junior Administrative Assistant to fill a 3+ month role for our government client located in Edmonton. If you are looking for a fulfilling opportunity with a great team – keep reading!
Responsibilities:
- Greet and direct visitors in friendly and professional manner.
- Receive and sort daily mail and assist with courier deliveries.
- Maintain stock of office and kitchen supplies.
- Book and set up meeting rooms.
- File, photocopy, and maintain records.
- Data entry including the completion of forms and templates; follow up with departments to obtain missing information.
- Other administrative tasks as required.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in an office environment; previous records management and data entry experience would be considered an asset.
- Previous experience working within the government or a government related industry would be well regarded.
- High attention to detail is required.
- Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
